The Helsinki Metropolitan Area Reuse Centre has maintained trolleys in Recycling rooms for reusable items, such as clothes, shoes, books, cookware and electronics. The received items have been sold in Reuse Centre shops.

Unfortunately the majority of donated items belong straight to waste and are not reusable at all. That is why Helsinki Metropolitan Area Reuse Centre will stop collecting reusable items in the Recycling rooms, starting from 18.6.2015

You can still donate reusable items in good condition by subscribing to the free pick-up service, or bringing them to the Reuse Centre shops during opening hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-20:00, Sat 10:00-16:00 and Sun 12:00-16:00.

By donating you pay it forward!
Donated items are either sold or given away in Reuse Centre’s shops and department stores. Made profits are used to maintain Reuse Centre’s operation: environmental work and employment.
